Scotts Steam Cleaning has over 20 years of commercial and residential carpet cleaning experience. We spend twice as much time preconditioning your carpet with the proper chemistry and agitation than most other companies. This allows your carpet to be flushed out of soil and contaminants without over wetting your carpet, and gives the quickest possible dry times. Our 5 jet, 5 vacuum rotary extractor will out perform any wand on heavily soiled carpet.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I try not to be the cheapest, or most expensive. I compare my rates to other carpet cleaners occasionally to keep up with the market.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Typically I have a phone conversation to gather information on what there needs are. Sometimes I need to do an in home, or office inspection to prequalify the job in order to give an accurate estimate.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Usually there are a few classes related to carpet and tile cleaning i try to attend annually. I frequent the internet boards with others in my fields to keep up on new products,equipment, and experiances.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I started in janitorial and window cleaning in my 20's and gradually progressed to specific areas of cleaning such as carpet, tile and grout, pressure washing, etc.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Many of my accounts are Real Estate agents and property managers. This accounts for about 60% of my work. The other 40% are home owners and renters looking to keep there home clean.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

References and photos of work performed make a good impression.
