Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
We offer discounts for AARP Members, Military, First Responders, and Public service employees

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
After setting the initial appointment, we bring out the necessary samples from major flooring manufacturers. We meet with the customer and discuss their wishes and needs. We walk the entire area with the customer. After performing laser measurements, we discuss particulars about the job. WE NEVER pressure our clients into making quick decisions on the spot! New floors are not something that you can return in 30 days if you "don't like the color!" Take your time, and we can come back to your home as many times as necessary until you are 100% ready to move forward.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Over 50 years of combined flooring experience from installation, sales, project management to customer service.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I began as an installer at 16 years old with my family. After attending college and working for a corporation for two years, I have been in the flooring industry for over 30 years.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
All types of customers from large families, to single individual homeowners or business owners. We've done small offices to entire buildings.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
We recently completed a 4200 sf home with Luxury Vinyl Planks throughout the entire home (including staircase with white risers) and we installed porcelain tile in the bathrooms.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Take your time and don’t get rushed by a flooring contractor asking for a credit card deposit! Your new flooring sets the tone for your home.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
What type of flooring would be best suited for my family and living conditions? Explain the performance and longevity of different types of flooring? Give me your advice on what type of flooring to choose if we are going to be putting our home on the market?
