At Floor Coverings International, we understand that every project has a budget and we work closely with our customers to make sure that we find a flooring solution that will fit all your needs…including your budget. We work with all major manufacturers, and with locations all over the U.S. and Canada we are able to leverage our buying power to make sure that we offer you highly competitive pricing and a wide array of products to meet every budget. Our design associates will ask you about your budget and will use it as a key consideration in making their product recommendation. With thousands of products in our product line, our goal is to save you the time you might have spent looking through countless racks of samples at a retail store and show you only the products that best suit your needs.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Floor Coverings International of Chandler-Gilbert offers mobile flooring showrooms throughout the East Valley, that come directly to your door! We provide a FREE in-home flooring consultations to help you find the floor of your dreams!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Your Design Associate is the expert who will be designing your custom flooring solution. At Floor Coverings International every Design Associate is highly trained in designing with all the different materials we work with – hardwood, laminate, luxury vinyl plank, carpet, tile and stone, specialty surfaces such as bamboo and seagrass, and accents such as glass and inlay borders.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I was fortunate to have a successful career in technology. This allowed me to learn how to manage large projects with operational excellence. I have always loved interior decorating and design. After looking at many options. I fell in love with the concept and customer first culture of Floor Coverings International. I love how I have the opportunity to work with many different types of design and installation projects. Making customers happy about the entire process is what I enjoy the most!!

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have been fortunate to work with many residential and commercial customers in the East Valley. We have many references for every type of project. I care about the success and happiness of every customer no matter the size or scope.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Every project differs just slightly in complexity, customer desires, and timelines required. However, we don't collect payment on the balance until the customer is satisfied. Most of our projects go from selection to installed in under 2 weeks.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would make sure that you see the products in your home. Flooring from a store is shown in very different lighting and surroundings. You want your selection to be perfect for your home. Discuss with a design associate the features and benefits of all types of flooring material, and how to create for you the right design, either from one material, or using several in one design. You should ask to see different options to create the most beautiful and appropriate flooring solution. What is the look and feel you are trying to accomplish? Are you focused more on achieving a certain look, or on achieving a certain level of performance/durability. Prioritize the projects in your home. The things that will increase your home value are flooring, kitchen, and bathrooms, in that order.
