I've been doing flooring business for 22 years. Very experienced and knowledgeable. What makes me different than the rest is that not only do I have the knowledge and experience to get the jobs done right, but i have the heart to actually do it the right way. Even if it's an inconvenience or takes more time, it's worth it to me and my customers to know I did my best! I stay up with communicating with customers so they can make the best decisions every step of the way. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I am not the cheapest installer out there, but I'm not the most expensive either. I believe in giving people very good value for their money. A lot of that value is in the knowledge if a floor will fail or not if installed a certain way, etc. And doing the installation done the right way.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

First, we talk on the phone to find out what the scope of work is and what you want to accomplish. If it's a small job that can be explained simply, and with pics, then we can schedule a time to do the work. if it's a bigger job, I schedule a free home consultation and give a bid at that time.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

The biggest training I have had is on the job experience. Also, over the years, I have worked with many different installers, and when I see that they had a better or more professional way to do something, I incorporated that into my way of business. I'm always looking to improve in any way.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I got started by a friend who owned a flooring company and needed help. He taught me everything from installation to sales. I was going to school for graphic design, and when I started working as a flooring installer, I knew this was what I wanted to do! Now, 22 years later, I'm still in business!

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with such a variety of customers, from homeowners, contractors, property managers, investment owners, and commercial buildings. from all walks of life and cultures.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I have so many jobs that I am proud of. The few examples are pics on my profile. the vinyl plank jobs were very big and took 3-5 days total.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

My advice is to hire someone with years of experience and great reviews. Also, watch how their customer service is. If it's hard to get ahold of them or feel that they are bothered by you asking questions, beware. look for honest, sincere contractors that have your best interest in mind. They are out there, I am living proof of this!

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

I would recommend doing some research on what kind of flooring and quality and type of material of flooring that would work best for you. Question to ask is, would this installer work on my job untill done before starting on another one and work diligently till done so they take up the least amount of your time at your home. Figure out the time frame that you need it done and have enough time to order materials to be in by that time.
