What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Our price never includes finish materials: tiles, grouts, trims, etc. We are offering discounts for seniors, and also for the neighborhood owners within a 5-mile radius from the business address (348 Sorrento Ct., Hercules).

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

First, we make a phone call to get more information about the size of the job, and timeframe of work, ask for photos of the job area and materials, and learn about materials to be installed. As usual, we are visiting the job site to chat with the owner about design, take measurements, and look at work organize options (we will need some place to cut tiles, store tools and materials safely, etc.)

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am a licensed tile contractor ( CA License C-54 860030). I went to the school to learn the trade and pass the state exams for the State License in 2005. I have a bachelor's degree in civil engineering.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I started as a helper of the tile installer in a construction company (San Francisco) in 2002-2004.

What types of customers have you worked with?

80% of our customers are homeowners, and 20% are General contractors.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

The regular bathroom with a bathtub has been converted to a walk-in tiled shower enclosure. Demolition, a new shower valve, custom-made shower pan, tiled walls and shower pan, and outside floor tiling. All took 7 days.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Look at reliable, reputable, licensed contractors.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

It's always nice to speak to customers who know what they want! All details matter the materials choice, design, or color surrounding walls!
