Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Our pricing is something we are extremely proud of. We do NOT give a customer a bid that is low just to get the job and then pile on additional costs and give 1,000 excuses why we did not foresee that cost in our original bid... such is the horror story we hear over and over from customers about previous contractors. We give you a bid that is thorough, thought through with a fine tooth comb, transparent, and whole. We bring up and ask about any detail we need to make the most honest, and complete bid as possible. We even tell our customers where costs could change if we are unable to access part of an existing structure such as the plywood underneath the shingles of the roof, or wood that could be eaten by termites. We understand how important budget and cost is to our customers. Our customers save money most of their lifetime for projects, and are trusting someone to get their project done for the cost they agree on. We are happy to work on discounts and show customers how we can cut down their costs to make everything work with their budget. Like I said, we work WITH you.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
We love to work with you on creating your vision. We find out the style, theme, inspiration and vision our customer have in mind by asking them to show us pictures of what they want or like. We talk about sizes, functionality, most important and least important aspects, the purpose and desired outcome for the space and so much more. We like to walk the site to see what exactly we are working with, the materials of the existing structure, and the placement of existing pipes and electrical. We then get to estimating the cost. We go off of the materials the customer wants, the size, scope of work and and out 25 years of experience in the field to get the best prices and exceptional quality. We will then proceed to choose a start date, sign a contract and make dreams happen.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Daryl, our General Contractor/ Owner had 15 years of industrial construction experience. He ran a crew on a 16 billion dollar job constructing an oil refinery, he worked on government power plants and chip plants, you name it. During this time we was decorated with countless awards for his leadership, safety, innovation, and being ahead of time and over budget. Daryl decided to follow his passion and turned toward residential construction after his career in industrial construction. Now he has spent the last 10 years following constructing homes, ADUs, apartments, shops and restaurants. Along with all of that, he has a degree in civil engineering from PEN state.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I would say I was born doing this work, but that would only be a slight exaggeration. I spent my childhood building things, and then got my degree in engineering, as I was always fascinated in construction. I jumped right into pipeline construction management and welding. After that I bought my own property, an apartment complex that was condemned due to its dangerous conditions, and completely renovated it. After that I started working on my license and building my own houses from the ground up. I learned every component that goes into building homes and commercial buildings and got my license as a general contractor.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We have worked with all kinds of customers from single family home owners, to fix and flippers, restaurant owners, ADU goes and those ambitious enough to do a new build. We love to work with everyone. Many of our customers are veterans so we are VA certified. Also lots of our customers are trusting us with their savings to make their dream home as they are coming up on retirement. Some customers are making space for a growing family or welcoming their kids back home and want to build them their own space. Lastly, we have done work for a church, fast food restaurants and the airport as well. We welcome everyone and all of their ideas.
