Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
We have the best prices in town for the quality of work! We take great pride in our work and never cut corners. Also, did we mention the price we give is the price you pay?? No hidden fees are tacked on after the project has been completed.  Carpet - $2.20-$4/sqft  Laminate/ LVP - $5-$8.50/sqft  Hardwood - $9-$12/sqft  Tile - $10-$15/sqft  Pricing includes demo & disposal of old flooring, floor prep, underlayment, material, and labor necessary to complete the job. All jobs come standard with a one-year labor warranty!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Typically, a customer will reach out. We talk on the phone and schedule a free on-site estimate at a time that works best for both of us, to come and look at the project. On the day of the estimate, I will bring my samples with me so that the customer can look over the samples while I get my measurements/ floor plan. We then go over options of what product best fits their needs and budget. We then schedule a date for installation and BOOM it's that simple!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Flooring IS my DNA! My uncles and aunts have always been in the flooring industry for decades! They all range from Installers to Estimadors to Installation managers to warehouse labor. I got into the trade at a young age. Started as a warehouse laborer loading the installers and making cuts for the next day's Installs. Eventually became an installer helper and was able to learn from one of the best! Fast forward to today where I was able to off branch and start my own company for the past 5 years, thanks to all the support from my amazing customers!

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Grew up in the flooring industry! It's my calling!

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We work with a lot of homeowners, Realtors, GC companies, Investors as well as property management companies.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
We recently completed a Basement remodel of about 1,200 SF of European White Oak Engineered flooring. For this project, the homeowner gave me complete control over the products. They wanted something contemporary (which is my style!) I was able to visualize something and bring g it to life which was a really unique and cool opportunity! Homeowners loved the final results and will be going back to finish the upstairs of their home!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Easy! My advice is to not always go for the cheapest price available! Sometimes these "contractors" tend to cut corners and that brings up issues for the homeowners in the long run which ends up costing them more. I would also advise having a good contract in place that protects both the homeowner and the contractor. Lastly, I Would suggest checking their reviews & recommendations!

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Customers should think about what flooring they would want to be installed and a budget they have in mind to spend. They should also think about what is the reason for replacing existing floors!
