Introduction

We offer hardwood floor restoration. We take old wood floors and make them beautiful again with a screen, re-coat. Or a complete sand and refinish with 3 coats of high grade water-based urethane finish.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I charge by the sq/ ft. Sometimes I have to charge a minimum if the sq/ft price isn't feasible.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I think it is important to educate all of my clients. I want to feel comfortable with me and trust me. I will walk them through every step of the process.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am certified in all phases of hardwood flooring. Including installing and the finishing process. I have certificates from bona, dura seal, nwfa, and Norton

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I started with my father in the 80s. I also have 6 brothers that are in the same trade

What types of customers have you worked with?

All types. Insurance, residential and some commercial.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Not one in particular. I love my job and finish all of the jobs to the customers satisfaction.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would say most importantly,ask the estimator who is doing the work. Most companies will sub out there jobs making it a crap shoot to who will show up. I do all of my jobs myself to insure that the product is done professionally. make sure they have quality equipment. There are companies still using floor Sanders that are older than they are. It make for a very poor product.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Timing , stain color , and budget.
