What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Yes on tile work it ranges from $2.50-$3.50 Per square foot depending on the material being used and what needs to be be done to prepare area for new floor whether we are removing carpet, wood or tile. Same applies for wood or laminate installation with a range from $1.50-2.00 per square foot

Contact made through telephone, then site visit and quote the project while with customer at their residence.

Projects are different we average 250-400 square feet of tile installed per day and on wood floors we average 500-1000 square feet installed per day on any given project.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Definitely- Get an in home estimate, meet the contractor, but first qualify him or her on the telephone with a brief 5 minute interview of your needs and see if the contractor can meet those needs.

Think about the quality of work you want, think about what you are willing to pay for quality. Also ask yourself about the quality of the material that you're looking for.
