What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

A personal visit to evaluate the project with a quick written proposal by mail or email. No pressure sales at API.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

We have numerous construction training courses amongst the API Guy's and a combined half of a century of on the job experience.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

We are also a building contractor and after having such poor luck with concrete subs we determined that our customers would best served if we did the concrete work in house.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Residential and light commercial.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

We removed a deck and installed 663 SF of slate textured patio and sidewalks in Waterloo. in 5 days. The owner was extremely happy.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Do not give a down payment for any construction project under $6000. If the contractor has to order concrete COD there is a problem.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

It is helpful if you have at least a general idea of what you want when the job is done. We can and do help plan.
