What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Hardwood flooring prices vary job to job. A typical refinish is between $3.75-4.25 a square foot. New installs are between $9-and $12, depending on product and species.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I meet with a customer at their conveince to find out what type of hardwood flooring work they need accomplished. Then i customize a price and plan to complete their project in a timely manner.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have 26 years of harwood flooring experience

How did you get started doing this type of work?

My uncle started building new homes . I started learning construction in high school. Soon after, to find my way specializing in hardwood flooring.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with all types of people in my career. A great mix a new homes along with many individuals just doing a one room make over.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

It's always fun doing custom installation with many exotic woods. Most recently, we refinished and 105 year old house that no one though could be brought to life and completed in 7days.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Some advice I would any customer, feel comfortable with the contractor you hire. Don't necessarily look only at price, character counts.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Many customers aren't professional remodelers . They need to have their budget set and idea of time that works best for them to live through construction.
