Our services include the installation of solid, engineered hardwood and Luxury Vinyl flooring, hardwood floor refinishing, custom stain colors, custom fabrication of stair treads, risers, nosing and reducers. Our company is family owned and there is a complete chain of command for responsibility to quality to which we adhere. We personally oversee a job from start to finish. Customer satisfaction is our top priority. We proudly serve both residential and commercial customers in Northern Virginia and Maryland.

We discuss initial project parameters over the phone, and then set up a free in-home estimate.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Our family has over 35 years of new home and remodeling construction experience in the Northern Virginia and Maryland areas. Prospect Hardwood Flooring was founded in 2012 to address the demand for expert refinishing and installation of hardwood flooring.

What types of customers have you worked with?

We work with insurance companies, residential and commercial customers.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Project in older Chevy Chase home. Customer asked us to replace multiple areas of white oak, install chevron pattern in foyer, then sand, stain and refinish. Customers thanked us for exceeding their expectations

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Find a provider who is professional, provides clear expectations of service and pricing. Also, we pride ourselves on quality of work, communication during the project and follow up on any items that need addressed immediately.

Do they offer a workmanship warranty? Availability that meets your needs? Reviews or recommendations from customers with similar work completed?
