HomeSpec BasementFix was started to provide a professional basement waterproofing company with honest family values, fair pricing and old world craftsmanship. We believe that a basement problem should be fixed right the first time AND for a fair price!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Our goal is to provide excellent, customer-focused service as quickly as possible. We provide friendly, quality service throughout the entire process of the work needed on your home. From the first contact through scheduling to the completion of the work. We strive to provide you with the best experience during what can be a stressful and difficult time in homeownership.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

We are trained, certified, and licensed in all methods of basement waterproofing, foundation repair, and crawlspace encapsulation.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

In my 15 years of being a Certified Home Inspector I saw a lot of “BAD” basements and crawlspaces. However, the biggest issue was homeowners trying to find a REPUTABLE company to fix the problems the right way at a proper price. I saw far too many basements and crawlspaces with improper repairs, leaving homeowners to have to pay twice or even a third time to repair something that should have been done right the very first time. As I learned, the basement waterproofing and foundation repair industry is full of really shady companies. Many of these “Basement Waterproofing and Structural Repair” companies are just high pressure sales organizations with no interest in fixing the issues properly. They merely put a band aid on it and hope for the best. The few reputable companies out there were usually booked way out and charged way too much…but they were busy because people want to do business with a craftsman, not a salesman.
