What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Nothing complicated. You have so many square yards at so much per yard. Pretty simple.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We bring samples to the house or business. Measure, figure the yardage and give estimate on the spot. None of this (we'll call you with a price later.)

How did you get started doing this type of work?

accident. Went to work and helped found one of Kansas cities largest flooring dealers.. Bought their Independence, Missouri store in 1976. The rest is history. 48 years later, still at it.

New homes purchases .rehab, and resale .Insurance claims. Lots of real estate.

Lots of upper scale homes.$250,000 and up.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Years in business. Licensed and insured. Reputation. Able to give plenty of references. Honest prices. Not misleading. Free pad, .Baloney. Nothing is free. Free labor. My installers don't work for free. Would you?

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Ask the salesman do your installers power stretch? Do they have work mans comp? Liability ins? Do they bag up their scrap? Vacuum? All very important questions. If they can't say yes to all these questions you don't need them. You want to hire professionals.
