Recently installed a half court basketball court from excavation to finish work with retaining wall, steps, basketball goal! Typically take 2-3 days!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Choose someone that is going to tell you the truth (even when it's not what you may want to hear) but gives you options for a fair price. not the cheapest. Someone that is gives you a list of references of real people that you can call and jobs you can look and verify quality! That's what we do!

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

How are you planning on using the space - functionally - how big does it need to be, what will type of traffic/vehicles will be on the surface. Be open to other ideas / locations / options. If you have an HOA, consider the timeliness for approval. Set expectations on availability / timelins for when Good operators will be able to perform work (generally 6 week lead times). Consider if financing options are needed and allow time for approvals.
