What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Flooring pricing is hard to give a general price for as each and every floor and layout is unique. Customers get to customize each and every hardwood project from stain color or natural to oil based finish or water based finish to the sheen they want (and that is all for just a sand and refinish). Ask us about our discount offers when discussing your estimate!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We start with a free estimate to get a feel for what the customer is looking for and the size and time frame. From there we work on scheduling a time to get it done that will best fit the customer's needs.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

We currently have 26 years experience and learned from a professional with 30+years experience.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

What started as just a summer job became a rewarding career doing something I love.

What types of customers have you worked with?

We have worked with everywhere from residential to commercial customers from every age group and every background. Many of our customers are from out of state with rentals around central Ohio. However, we serve all of the Ohio area.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

We had a customer that had two different species of wood on the first floor of their home. They decided to replace the whole floor for a more uniform look. They chose brazilian cherry with an inlay in the kitchen consisting of a maple boarder and brazilian cherry on a 45 degree angle. The total first floor took about a week and a half to complete with absolutely beautiful results.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

We advise customers to compare portfolios, reviews, experience and price in that order. Cheaper isn't always better in the flooring business.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

It is always best to think about the time frame that works best for you as well as the color and sheen you might like. Remember, you can fully customize to your taste!
