Introduction

I'm a second generation flooring contractor and have been in the business for over 25 years. I offer sanding and refinishing of hardwood flooring and installation of all types of flooring. I also offer a 90% dust containment system, if requested. I do residential and commercial work and have access to contractors for all types of flooring from wood to carpet to tile. Floor refinishing is very rewarding because seeing an old floor look brand new again is rewarding.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Sanding and refinishing is from $1.75 -2.75 sqft depending on dust containment or not all other flooring varies with material cost

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We will put stain samples in the owners house on their floor so there is no question about the color. Sometimes picking them out in a store once you get them on the floor they look different. So we do them in the house

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I grew up in the business this is all I have done for 18 years. I started doing this when I was a teenager then moved on to own my own business

How did you get started doing this type of work?

My father taught me how to do the work and I've self taught melself new ways to keep up with the times and new products available

What types of customers have you worked with?

We do work with homeowners and commercial contractors to renovaters and custom builders

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Take time to decide on the right contractor. Our area is flooded with flooring people and a lot of times cheaper is not better.
