Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Flooring installation is a competitive business and I am very proud of being able to be competitive myself, while offering top notch quality and service.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I like to ask a few basic questions and listen to what they need; then I offer to come to their home for a free estimate.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have learned the trade from a skilled professional with many years experience. And like myself, have now being doing this for almost 3 decades.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I learned the trade from my father and began learning while I was in high school.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Honestly all types of people and all types of projects. Over my 29 years there is nothing I haven’t been able to handle.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
My last project was last Friday. A customer called to have me re-stretch 2 bedrooms in their home. There were waves/wrinkles that formed and needed to be stretched out. Job went well and they were very happy.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
I would have them ask a few questions. A skilled professional will have many ideas and insight on what they are looked for; as well as years of experience.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
I think one of the most important thing is timeline. When are they needing this project completed. Obviously cost is also important.
