Introduction

Professional installer who was Quality and Plant Manager for engineered flooring manufacture. I understand the requirements of installation sites, and what you can and cannot be done with following manufactures specifications. I have been involved with installations, inspections and repairs for 21 years. I travel frequently to GB, Appleton areas. I'm sorry I do not install 3/4" solid, carpet or linoleum!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Tongue and groove is different than a lock and fold floor for difficulty. Also glued, staple are different pricing as degree of difficulty. also if room if square it would be easier than a hallway that requires precision cutting of door jams.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Customer decided on flooring and then contact me through app. I will respond quickly and ask questions about type of flooring, profile whether lock and fold (click) or tongue and groove. How many square feet etc. Then call or video chat to go through the details of costs and site needs such as transition pieces.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

11 years in many roles such as Technical Manager for engineered flooring company. I would support installers with advice on proper installation technique and specifications.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I formerly worked at a factory that produces engineered hardwood as Supervisor and moved to cCaims and Technical Support Manager.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with residential and commercial customers

I'm fond of all of my projects. I take great pride in my work.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Check references, by calling or contacting them as photos don't tell the whole story.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Actual square footage of installation, what is on floor now and who will remove, what will be done with old flooring? what is their budget for project.
