What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We offer reasonable rates and do our best to work with must budgets, We normally ask for 50 % down when the booking is made or 30 days before the event Final payment is expected on the day of the event. We have no hidden fees and offer a discount for 100 guest or more

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

When I receive a request from a new customer, I will reply after carefully reading their request profile. I then send them a few sample menu ideas featuring the types of cuisine they are looking to see at their even. With the hope that this will get their minds flowing with some ideas of what dishes will work best for their event. These menu ideas are just samples the customer gets the opportunity to use them if they want or come up with their own menu ideas.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I started in the culinary field as a student at the Hospitality Management Training Institute on the island of Antigua. Followed by Two years of Professional Cooking At the Cornell University Ithaca NY Along with numerous Cooking, Event and Hospitality Management Training Courses

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I started as a young girl in my Fathers Bakery on the island of Dominica. We use to cater for the local weddings, church bazaar and other local events. My job at that age was hand beating the cake batters, peeling vegetables, setting the tables or bushing they breads before baking.

I have worked with Corporate clients, Singles, families, Couples, Destination weddings, Churches, Schools, and More

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Hosting a couple as their personal chef on the night of there 1st wedding anniversary. It was a great pleasure to prepare and serve them an elegant meal on such a great and memorable occasion

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Let your caterer know the budget your are working with,Most Caterer can work with your budget if they know before hand what budget they are working with. Any special dish you will like incorporated in your menu planning, number of guests you are expecting at your event, Your choice of site where the event will be held and the equipment available for the chef at the site.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

The number of people in their group, Are their anyone with special diets or allergies Will there be children who needs to eat at a specific time.
