What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My pricing takes into consideration the type of meal requested, cost of food(s), number of people, and time. I accept all forms of payment for my services.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I usually send my potential clients a menu suggestion. If it is not intially what they want, I listen to their suggestions and specific requests, to create a unique menu designed especially for them. I really want my clients to feel comfortable and confident in knowing that they selected the right caterer to deliver the meal they helped create.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am self taught with extensive “hands on” training in various culinary positions as well as through continuous study.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I was taught this trade by my father who was a master chef in the U.S. Army.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Buffets, weddings, baby/wedding showers, birthdays, graduations, school events, kid parties, and large scale corporate events. I also do intimate personal chef dinners for 2-12 people requesting varied ethnic cuisines.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I just recently completed an anniversary dinner for a young coupled who enjoyed their experience so much that they hired me to come back the next week to give that same experience to the gentleman's mom!!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

If a caterer submits a suggested menu and it’s not what you like, provide feedback on what you are looking for to allow the caterer to address your desire with a personally crafted menu/service that appeals to you. If they can’t, by all means move on to the next caterer who has contacted you. Knowing about what exactly it is that you want helps a caterer a great deal in providing you with food and service above and beyond your expectation.
