Introduction

This is best answered by reading my customer testamonials. From my professional machine, to my attention to detail, my customer's say far better than I ever can. I really enjoy meeting new people, helping them create the best lawn or garden this year with suggestions covering soil amendments and tillage. Being outside, not chained to a desk, and having great variety in the projects on which I work.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
I price by the job. The price I quote is what you will pay unless something totally unexpected comes up. In that case I will discuss the situation with you including any additional fees.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
When accepting a lead I will respond with questions that assist me in tailoring my quote to your situation. There are multiple factors which influence my pricing for a particular job. There is no one size fits all circumstances even for something that seems pretty cut and dried like rototilling AKA soil prep.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
BA Biology

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
With time on my hands I decided to see if I could utilize my BCS rototiller to create a business.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
My customers or rather projects have ranged from small family gardens, to prepping several thousand square feet of soil for lawns to turning over a 20,000+ sq ft former horse enclosure.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
In Summer 2019 I prepped a 5,000 sq ft front and back lawn area. This involved initial rototilling prior to renting a walk behind skid steer machine to distribute compost followed by a second rototilling to mix in the compost. This project took almost a full week.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Look at their reviews. Also, understand that the more questions the pro asks should indicate the level of their experience. I like to know the whole scope of your project so that I might tailor my services to better fit your scenario. By doing so I may be able to steer you away from potential pitfalls as well.
