Introduction

My focus is on the your experience in your garden. What do you want from your garden? I am a life long gardener and teach/coordinate Master Gardeners. I am also the director of the People’s Harvest garden in Pomfret CT, which is a volunteer garden which donates all produce grown to local kitchens that serve those in need. Whether you need a full garden installed, a garden mentor to give you guidance, or just need maintenance help, I would enjoy discussing your project. I also offer Handyman / Home improvement services. I have maintained rental properties and commercial properties for the past 19 years. I am available for the multitude of functions that come under the heading of handyman. Repairs to sheet-rock, deck repair, painting, cleaning etc etc. I would be happy to evaluate your projects.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Life long gardener and certified Advanced Master Gardener from UCONN I have maintained rental properties and commercial properties for the past 10 years. I am available for the multitude of functions that come under the heading of handyman. Repairs to sheetrock, deck repair, painting, cleaning etc etc.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I have enjoyed gardening for 25+ years and decided to expand to customer’s gardens as my own.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Recently renovated a beautiful garden of creeping phlox and thyme which had become overgrown with weeds- weeding amongst fragrant plants was a joy and I will be seed starting a couple of flats of woolly thyme for this client to expand some areas.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure the provider listens to you and what you want. Think about how you utilize your garden-do you view it from afar, do you decompress on the bench every day - or somewhere in between.
