Introduction

I offer insured and trusted fine art, mural and installation services. I have been in business for 6 years and am an accredited, professional fine artist, muralist, installation expert and digital designer. Designing and executing projects from start to finish is an absolute joy for me, and I love working with my clients to achieve their vision. My painting abilities are experienced and diverse, so accomplishing murals/signage in different styles to fit my client's needs is not a problem. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I price based on materials, time, travel and level of desired detail. I am very transparent about my pricing, and always happy to try to meet a budget!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I love the initial meeting with clients, and picking their brains about what exactly they want to accomplish. The more carefully I can construct your needs/vision in that initial meetup, the happier and more fulfilled we both feel. Recreating someone else's vision can sometimes be a major challenge, but I will rework a piece or project several times, or until my client expresses true satisfaction.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Bachelor of Fine Art, Curatorial training, 4.5 years event specialist, 6 years graphic design, 2 years screenprinting, 15+ years vocal performance/songwriting, 4 years gallery professional

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Being a passionate, and self motivated artist, my creative nature fills every facet of my life. I started completing jobs on the side of managing a gallery full time, and realized I was way more fulfilled and happy painting. I am a now a full time painter, installation expert and painting instructor for Selby Gardens.

What types of customers have you worked with?

All types - My painting skill set allows me to try anything and I am open to a challenge! I have completed pieces of all sorts- floral & botanical, contemporary abstraction/texture, figurative works, tropical beach scenes, northern landscapes, animals, sports logos, animated characters, even religious iconography. I provide painting courses to all ages. I am happy to work with anyone and everyone, and pride myself on being fluid and flexible.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Check out my photos to view my past projects. I recently complete a Japanese inspired tidal wave with flattened tropical foliage, and geometrical abstraction that wrapped around the room. The sun was the main focal point, and was completed in real gold leaf. I loved this project and was very excited that a client gave me full creative freedom on this piece. He was so happy!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Meet your pro in person and make sure they are someone you feel confident and comfortable working with.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Shop around for inspiration pictures if you don't already know what you want. Gathering a folder of photos you love (from magazines, internet, design books, whatever works!) will help me understand your vision so that the design comes together in a way that makes you feel confident and beyond satisfied with the outcome.
