What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I charge $75. per hour for my gardening services which can include working on the customer’s property, or sometimes trips to plant nurseries to look at plant options I’ve suggested for customers. Sometimes the customer will come to the nurseries with me, which is usually fun for us both

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I like to contact a new customer as quickly as possible and listen to what they are looking to get done.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Degree in Horticulture, Guelph University, Ontario Canada

How did you get started doing this type of work?

It was all my mother’s fault. She was a passionate gardener and I loved working with her in the flower gardens she planted.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Two years ago I was hired through Thumbtack by a young couple. The husband became a passionate gardener after he discovered the joy and tranquility of ‘playing in the dirt!
