What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

The Planted Stone pricing is always fair to both parties. We firmly believe that you get what you pay for. Being the owner and foreman of every project helps me to offer more reasonable pricing than other companies that have extra employees.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I like to speak on the phone to get an idea of what they are looking for. After I know what the project is about, I want to meet face to face at location. There we can discuss details and costs. I will contact them within two days via text or phone with a price. Most projects get started with a week.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have 19 years of experience working with plants and 13 years doing stonework.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I was working in a wholesale nursery when i decided i really wanted to create projects that would last a lifetime. I liked working with people, plants and stones so the transition was obvious to me.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Every kind! People who arent exactly sure what they want, people who know exactly what they want with picture in hand and people who say do whatever. In the end my goal is to have happy customers.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I did a project with pavers in a area with bad drainage, we talked and i come out with a plan for the water to run smoothly with out causing a problem with the pavers patio. Time=4 days total, 220 sq ft., 45 ft of drainage with 2 collection boxes.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Know what you are willing to pay and make sure everything you want and need is in the contract.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

How much money they would like to spend on their project. What codes and restrictions of the HOA and city may need to be adressed. What is the timeline needed for the projects completion.
