What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

All my pricing is very transparent. You see exactly where my money is made. I never hide my overhead and profit in the scope line items.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I like to lay out the project with the customer and make sure they are clear with what’s going to happen and that I understand their design intent.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I’ve been working in this industry for 24 years. School of hard knocks.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Started in high school with my love of wood shop class.

I’ve worked with all types of people.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

We recently remodeled the entire exterior of a home in Novato. The windows and stucco work came out wonderful. That project took close to a year.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure they including everything you asked for so there’s no hidden fees down the line.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Customers should have an idea of a budget and a firm idea of what they want to happen.
