Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
My pricing is flat rate. I take the over all market value of jobs and cut the price by 35%-50% depending on the job. The bigger the job the more i discount. Reasoning I am a small company and i compete with bigger plumbing companies in the area. So with me you are always going to get the best deal. I give you a price based in my price book upon arrival.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
When you contact me I will ask you for your name. I will ask you what is your problem? once you tell me and describe your problem I may try to trouble shoot with you over the phone. This method may save you some money and trip for me to come out. If I can resolve your problem over the phone I may ask just give me a positive review. Other wise if I need to come out I will ask you can you send me your address through text. I will text you when I am on my way, also when I arrived. also customers must understand I am self employed with one helper I can do but so many jobs in a day so sometimes I may need to reschedule

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I started doing this work at the age of 16 years old. I went to a vocational high school and took up the trade of plumbing and carpentry. I remember when a member of my church heard I was learning plumbing he asked can I fix his tub spout. So I asked my plumbing teacher can he show me how to fix this problem. After he shared his knowledge I was able to apply what he taught me and I helped my church member out! He was happy and he had told me I saved him hundreds of dollars. after that experience I knew this is what I wanted to do!

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I work with business owners across the D.M.V general contractors, real estate agents, real estate investors, property managers, land lords, restaurant owners, government contracts, handymen, and regular everyday people which is my favorite type of customer.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
My advice to people looking for new techs. Always verify there license, try to see there reviews, ask for pictures of previous work, make sure the contractor has insurance, and ask questions! no one knows everything but a true professional should be able to answer basic questions pertaining to there trade.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Ask the tech how long should this project take, do you have the experience to do this type of project. For example I am a master plumber but I did not learn absolutely all facets of my trade. No one knows everything so ask the tech can he handle a certain project. Ask the tech about the payment method, and payment draws. How many people are going to be on this project. What is the work schedule time duration? So some of these questions can help you navigate through the project
