I am a St. Louis based licensed architect with over 10 years experience in design and construction, focused on single family residential projects. Over my career my focus has been on providing great customer service and creative solutions. FM Design Build can help with conceptual design, drafting, detailing, rendering etc... but we also work as a full service General Contractor for our own design-build projects.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We typically work on an hourly basis for architectural design services. We will provide you a detailed proposal with an estimated total project cost to ensure everyone is on the same page with expectations.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We are very proud of the process we follow with our customers. We will begin with a welcome/inspiration meeting to get to know you and your style, project needs, etc... From there, we will create a tailored plan to meet your goals We are also proud to be a full service design build firm which means we can offer construction services for our new construction projects. If your project doesn't fall under our typical construction scope, we can offer owner's rep. services to help you select and vet a contractor and manage the project as a third party to ensure you aren't taken advantage of!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Over 10 years experience in residential design and construction. Masters Degree in Architecture from the Illinois Institute of Technology. Licensed Architect in Illinois and Missouri with the ability to be licensed in any other state thru NCARB certifications

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I started drawing floor plans when i was 10 years old. It was always what I wanted to do!

What types of customers have you worked with?

We have successfully completed design/build projects with clients at all budget levels, styles, needs etc...

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Ask lots of questions! Work with someone who can make the process fun for you. Far too often I have heard horror stories of a project gone wrong due to unclear expectations and a stressful process
