Q&A

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Depends on the customer, their needs, and what they’re looking to have completed.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have my residential builders license. I also studied construction in high school, and have 13 years in college for business. My experience ranges from framing to painting. I have covered a ton of ground, and have experience in many areas.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I started due to my love of building things when I was younger. I found my self back in construction when I needed to do something for me. This started as a hobby and became my career.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
Complete home remodel. Took us 4 months. We added roughly 1300 Square foot of living space with a complete master bath add on, 3rd bathroom in the basement, a 4th bedroom in the basement with egress window. Remodeled all rooms, the main floor bathroom, and kitchen. All new drywall was installed, all new doors, trim, and flooring. A laundry room was also added to the mud room. Stamped concrete off the back sunroom which was turned into a 4 seasons, a deck on the front with concrete walkway. Also, new slab on concrete in the pole barn with a nearly 150’ concrete walkway from the stamped concrete to the service door of said pole barn.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Research, grab coffee, and get to know who your provider is. A lot can be learned from spending a bit of time with them. Coffee, sitting at a table, and having a conversation of what you want can go much farther for a builder like me. Sometimes the ideas start to come out and true art is made!
