Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
I do fair pricing and almost %100 of the time I price by the job and not the hour . If a problem does come up on a job I immediately converse with the client and we work it out and come up with a solution and an agreeable charge.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
My process is quite simple. My first consultation allows us to become familiar with each other as well as the desires of the client. I then see if those desires are doable and then I proceed to discuss the fastest and most affordable way of obtaining that goal.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I don't have any formal training if you will. I have been blessed with a mechanical intuition. I have also been doing this long enough that throughout the years I have been able to become pretty good at what I do through repetition. I have also become proficient in different scenarios within each project. There isn't much that I haven't encountered.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I've been doing this work for over 29 years. I started when I was 18 out of necessity to provide maintenance for my father's rental properties. So it was a learn as I go type of learning and throughout the years I have become well seasoned at what I do.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I've worked with all types of customers. But whether the customer is easy to work with or a little rough around the edges they are still my customer and they will receive the respect and patience that they deserve.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I recently did a plumbing job under a house which involved replacing all the old supply and drain lines. I enjoy doing that type of work because I am seeing something done from start to finish with my own hands.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Look at the providers profile. Look at previous jobs done and any pictures that are available. Contact previous clients. DO YOUR HOMEWORK.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
What is my budget? How much time can I spend involved in the project? Is this really a project that I need right now?
