What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our team brings decades of hands-on experience, professional certifications, and specialized training in home renovation and construction with a three-year degree from Thadius Stevens College of Carpentry and Renovations

How did you get started doing this type of work?
We started Contracting Genius with a simple mission—to bring integrity, craftsmanship, and professionalism back to home improvement.
Our founders began in the trades, working hands-on in everything from carpentry and remodeling to full-scale renovations with the Amish. Over the years, we saw too many homeowners from other companies frustrated by poor communication, missed deadlines, and sloppy work. So we set out to build something better—a company that treats every home like our own and every customer like a partner.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
One of our standout projects was the construction of a new Panda Express in Reading, completed over the winter of 2024–2025.
We managed the full scope—from ground preparation and site work to final inspections and handoff. Despite winter conditions, our team coordinated with engineers, subcontractors, and city inspectors to keep the project moving on schedule. We handled excavation, foundation work, utilities, framing, and all interior and exterior finishes—delivering a turnkey result that met both corporate and code requirements.
The project was a great example of how we thrive under tight timelines and high standards. Whether it’s a national franchise or a family home building an In-law addition, we bring the same commitment to detail, communication, and quality from the first shovel in the ground to the final walk-through to make sure of our Genius 360° Satisfaction Guarantee.
