Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Our fee's are derived on a project by project basis that depends on the scope of services required. Our contract prices range between $5,000 for a basic set of permit documents up to $50,000 or more for a custom single family residence.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
We meet with each new customer on location at their potential project and spend 1-2 hours walking through their space in a phase we call "discovery". This is at no cost to the potential customer and will serve as a preliminary meeting to determine if our firm is a good fit for their project.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
15+ years of practice in the Architectural profession with licenses held in multiple jurisdictions. Degree's held in Architecture and Real Estate Development with years of practice and continuing education in Contracting and Construction.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
We have an addiction for all things Architecture and Construction related with a passion to help homeowners and businessowners alike navigate a complex process with ease and affordability.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Homeowners and Businessowners

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
We're proud of all of our projects. Some can consume 3+ years of our time, others can be done as quickly as 2 or 3 months. With each project we get to meet new people that will be responsible for the success of that specific project and we love the process of collaborating with likeminded individuals.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Interview your potential candidates carefully. Every Architecture practice operates differently. For us - we don't execute a particular architectural style but rather adapt our designs based on the preferences of our clients. In addition - review the scope of services proposed carefully. Some proposals include interior design, structural engineering, and other additional services. Some do not. When comparing proposals make sure the scope of services is the same.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
What is your budget and what does that include (I.E. - direct construction costs, interior furnishings, permitting and professional fees, etc.)? How do you anticipate funding your project? What is your timeline? What are the expectations you hold of your design professional? What are your design preferences (I.E. - your preferred style, color palettes, materials, etc.)?
