What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Pricing starts at our minimum job amount. This typically applies to one item pickups and smaller junk removal jobs. We offer discounts for curbside and driveway jobs as well as military discounts.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We will typically first call or text you to establish contact. We will discuss the parameters of your job as well as location and timeline. For jobs that are a little complex, we will ask for pictures to be able to provide you with a quote. If you can't get us pictures, we can arrange for an in person estimate. After the quote is issued and accepted, we will get you into the schedule and complete the job on the day and time requested.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am a former USC student. I went to Darla Moore School of Business. There I learned the fundamentals of business, professionalism, and client care. Every day I take those lessons and apply them to Carolina Junk Pros to provide the best service possible.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

We started junk removal 3 years ago on a whim. Back then, the market was not as popular and we saw an entry and took a chance. We started with a tiny hand me down pickup truck and trailer and now we have access to trucks, trailers, box trucks, dumpsters, and anything else we need to provide our clients with the best junk removal services possible.

What types of customers have you worked with?

We have worked with all different types of clients. Our most common clients are people who basic furniture removal, appliance removal, and other miscellaneous items removed from their home or business. We also routinely conduct estate, hoarder, and other types of cleanouts or mass junk removal. We love commercial clients as well. From routine junk removal, pallet removal, or more involved services like valet trash. Whatever your needs, we've seen it before.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I am fond of every job that we do. We love meeting new people and providing a service to our community. No matter the job, we take pride in what we do. It is not always fun or easy. and it is far from glamourous but I would not change a thing!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Take your time and do your research. There are a lot of options when it comes to junk removal. Choose a company that presents itself in a professional way and provides a price and timeline that works for you.

Some common questions a customer should think through before hiring us are - What is the project’s main goal? What’s my budget? Is there flexibility if unexpected costs arise? Are there any items or areas that need special attention? What’s my timeline for the project? Having these questions answered prior to talking to us will expedite the process and ensure that your job goes smoothly.
