Introduction

Hi! If you’re looking for an individual cleaner who is extremely detailed and will do great work just for the work’s sake, then I’m your cleaner. I go extra lengths to ensure my clients’ happiness, and have been this way since I started cleaning part-time in 2006, then full-time since 2016. My reviews speak for me! I don’t hide my fees from my potential clients because I strive to be completely transparent. (Always.) Let’s get the communication started and we’ll see if we are a good fit! Thank you for your consideration!

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
What price would you put on trust? That is what I bring you. My prices reflect my experience, know how, and my overall character and consistency that I’ve maintained for the 19 years that I’ve been doing this. I have no hidden fees. My pricing includes my gas, supplies, vacuum maintenance, and labor.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
My first clean is an “overview:” the best “basic clean” I can give (without venturing into deep cleaning tasks for which I’d have to charge) that covers the main tasks with the amount of details being done based on the last time they’ve had it cleaned. Every time I show up at their home, more and more details will get done within the “basic clean” scope. This would include baseboards, dusting high up places, dusting walls, doing indoor windows (even outdoor if I can reach them, among other tasks! If “it’s dirty, I’m going to want to clean it.”

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I started cleaning when I was five years old. My dad would have me clean bathrooms every week. When I began cleaning professionally in 2006, I began learning from my clients. Most notably are the nurses for whom I clean. They are always giving me tips, tutorials on making sure bacteria was washed away, as well as tuning me into new products.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Outside of the fact my dad had me start cleaning bathrooms at the age of 5, I first cleaned for a friend. I love cleaning. I’m good at it. It made sense for me to continue with what I’m good at….. and being honest helps.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Elderly, young, with pets, no pets, large families, single people, sick, healthy… My clients are teachers, nurses, construction workers, photographers, businessmen and women, restaurant owners, government workers, store keepers, stay at home moms and dads, retirees. Most of all, my clients are great people. I’m truly grateful for them.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
A move out clean for my previous landlord. She was so happy with what I did. Made me happy … It took about 7 hours to do it.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Decide if you want just one person in your home every time your home is to be cleaned, or if you’re truly ok with multiple people and, possibly, multiple cars being at your home at once. Decide what your needs are. You need to find someone who’s right for you, and who fits your kind of vibe. If you’re not that picky, don’t pick a cleaner who is more costly and who is an exceptional detail worker. But, if you are picky, and you like a lot of details to be done, then you need to find that kind of cleaner, and be prepared to pay for that kind of clean.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Customers would be wise to ask themselves what their own expectations are. If they’re wanting a very detailed clean, then they need to be prepared to pay for it. If the customer is not picky, then they need to choose that kind of cleaner who will, in turn, charge accordingly. Customers need to ask themselves what products they would and would not approve of. Customers should think about if they can get their homes picked up and somewhat organized so the home can be cleaned efficiently. Customers need to think through if they will be home when the professional is there, and whether or not they are comfortable with leaving the professional alone.
