I’ve been in the cleaning industry for over 23 years, and about 12 years ago, I decided to take my experience and start my own company. I’ve always had a strong work ethic and a passion for providing high-quality cleaning services. Over the years, I saw the opportunity to build a business that not only delivers exceptional results but also prioritizes strong client relationships and a well-trained, dedicated team. Owning Extra Clean has allowed me to combine my expertise with my commitment to excellence, and it’s been incredibly rewarding to see the company grow while making a positive impact on our clients' homes and businesses.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Over the past 13 years of owning my cleaning business and more than two decades in the industry, I’ve had the opportunity to work with a wide range of customers. I’ve handled everything from large commercial contracts and new construction cleanups to janitorial services, residential cleaning, and detailed move-out cleans. My experience includes working with homeowners, property managers, real estate professionals, construction companies, and businesses of all sizes. Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

One project I’m especially proud of is the student housing contract we’ve handled every year for the past 11 years. It’s an intense, fast-paced job that requires our team to complete a massive influx of cleaning work in a very short timeframe. The time constraints are tough, and the work is demanding, but our team thrives in this high-energy environment. It takes incredible coordination, efficiency, and attention to detail to ensure every unit is move-in ready. The most rewarding part is the final day—seeing everything come together just as the students arrive to begin their new journey. Knowing we played a part in giving them a fresh start in a clean space makes all the hard work worth it.
