How did you get started doing this type of work?

In our experience, people start residential cleaning companies for the flexibility. Whether you’re the primary cleaner or hiring others, you reap the benefits of working for yourself like setting your own rates and your own hours. And with a cleaning business, there are low start-up costs and lots of room to expand.

What types of customers have you worked with?

We work for families, teachers, lawyers, doctors, nurses; broker and others more so that when they come back from their jobs they have their houses clean.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Recently a family client with four children at home called us asking for a regular cleaning, but when we arrived at her house and after she showed us everything she would like us to do, we realized that it was not just about cleaning, as there were many things out of place, clothes in every corner of the house and that did not fit for her children anymore. We suggested to her that before cleaning we would have to organize things and try to eliminate the clothes they no longer wore , we explained to her that things accumulated in the corners of the house are used to gather dust and are always dirty , you clean around things that are dirty but the dirty is still there, it's exhausting work because you never see the results, it's frustrating to spend our money like that. So we made a deal after having budgeted the cost of our services. It took two days to organize everything and eight hours of deep cleaning , finally we left her house clean and organized!!!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Hiring someone to come in and clean or other services in your home means inviting someone new inside your space. To that end, you want to make sure the house cleaning you hire can be trusted. Ask where you can find references from past customers. Some will have them on websites, others can be found on professional customer review websites, or you can also call the old customers and ask for references.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

How will do the work to be done ? What cleaning products will be used? How long to do the work ? What budget ? We need to get everything clear between both parties.
