Introduction

At 3rd Hand Cleaning and Painting we are the extra hand you need to keep your home or office looking it's best. We provide all cleaning and painting supplies and equipment. We follow all CDC recommended safety protocols, but also use STEAM cleaning technology to ensure the most SANITARY space. Our beginnings were in hospitality---we know all the ins and outs of sanitizing, organizing and cleaning a myriad of different spaces and locations. Our painting division is lead by an experienced interior painter with an eye for detail.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Our pricing is competitive. We we offer discounts for repeat bookings.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We contact a new customer to learn of their expectations and to confirm their schedule times. We also will contact the customer day of the appointment to let them know we are on our way.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

My crew and I have been working together for years with other owners. Our background is gumption and backbone. I personally have a business degree and a culinary degree and have worked in catering for the last 8 years.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

With many years of off-site catering experience we know how to go into any situation and figure out how to make it work. There is so much cleaning, logistics and organization needed to create an event and we have set-up kitchens in closets, hallways and tight spaces... all need to be cleaned before and after. Then when everything comes back we would clean and store everything... pandemic has halted our industry so we move on and opened 3rd Hand Cleaning Plus. Our Plus side services are: minor handyman services such as assemblying furniture, mounting a tv, hanging shelves, etc. We also can do some minor yard work like removing a fence or removing dirt or weeds. We also have several staff that are excellent painters and can do interior and exterior painting.

Many types of customers of all ages and backgrounds.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I am especially proud of a job we did to assist a customer who needed two rooms painted quickly because their baby was due any day. We were able to paint those rooms in 8 hours and did an excellent job.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure you have contacted the provider to learn about their services and provide your expectations.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Common questions would be to ask the provider what is included in their services. Also it's best to honest about the level of cleanliness of your home and your specific expectations.
