At MaidxChange we charge by the size and type of the job. Size of the job includes how many bedrooms and bathrooms. Type of job includes standard, deep cleaning, or move in / move out. Extra services include refrigerator, oven, and inside window cleaning.

Our process may include email correspondence or a phone call to discuss specific needs for the house cleaning, ideal arrival times, and payment options. Once everything is agreed on, we work with customers on communication specifics on who their cleaner or cleaning team is and text or email on Thumbtack about their arrival eta. After the work is finished we reach out to the customer to see how things went. When everything is confirmed to be great, we arrange for payment.

I'm a real estate investor and work with a lot of cleaning scenarios that are relevant to MaidxChange. My cleaning standards are the basis of the expectations for all of the cleaners we work with.

As a multiple Airbnb owner, I worked to clean my units to a very high degree. My experience in cleaning my units was the impetus for me to start a business helping others.

We work with both residential and commercial customers. Our house and apartment cleaning ranges from large single family homes (4000 sq. ft +) to small apartments. We've also been successful at helping Airbnb owners with same day "turns". Commercial customers include large retailers in Mall of America and offices in the Twin Cities.

We take pride in all of our work. Job times vary according to the size and type of job. One project stands out as we helped a customer get a home ready for sale after the death of her brother. The home where her brother lived had been in disrepair and no kept up in terms of cleaning. The team did a deep cleaning, even scrubbing walls that had been stained with nicotine. Our customer was very happy with the work and was able to list the property for sale.

We feel that customers should look to get the best service, not just the lowest price. We work with the best cleaners and pay above average to ensure that the professionals get what they deserve and do exceptional work. Don't look for price, look for quality.

Some important questions to think about are things like: Is the home carpeted or is there hardwood floors throughout? Is there a basement space that is part of the cleaning? Are spaces clear of items that may impede with the cleaners working efficiently throughout the home? House cleaning is different from home organizing; do you need your home cleaned, organized, or both? When booking a regular cleaning, do you need a deep cleaning first?
