Introduction

We are a mother and daughter team who has been cleaning homes, offices, & beach houses for over 10 years. We know having a stranger come into your home can be scary. So we tell you exactly when we are coming and what we’ll do. We leave you a written note after and always give references and contact info.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
We offer competitive rates in the area. We do offer a discount depending on how much they need us during the month. Laundry isnt included in price. We do offer it but by the lb. Our deep cleans are determined by the square footage. Organizing is priced per hr. Price for windows is based per window and increases by the level.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
We like to visit the home and sit down with the potential client and find out exactly what they expect or need from us. We asks their budget and from there we will write up a cleaning checklist, schedule, & price so that they know exactly what to expect from us each time and what it will costs.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Besides us having a family of our own including children and grandchildren that we clean up after, we also have over 20+ years cleaning all types of homes, apartments, mansions, and commercial properties. There is nothing much we have not seen!

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
We started out cleaning cottages at the beach in 2000 and we worked every season for 10 years and then we saw realized we were making pennies compared to what the company was getting paid for our work. We decided to start a business of our own and start cleaning for families, commercial offices, bachelor pads and the elderly locally.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We have worked with individuals, small & big families, batchelors, pet owners, fraternity houses, doctors and dentists offices, building contractors, realtors, and the elderly. Clients moving in or moving out

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
A desperate crying woman called me one night begging me to come get her house ready for the social workers to do a follow up visit in three days to make sure the house was in living condition. She had hired several ppl and they had walked in and walked right back out. She was a OR nurse and her husband was a doctor They had 4 children under 4 years old. I had never cleaned a house without seeing it or meeting my client first I knew she was desperate and needed us. She sent me some pics of the inside and I didn’t know if we could get it done but I agreed if she would send me a 500 deposit and give 48hrs we’d do best we could. I wanted to back out when I walked in but my heart wldnt let me do it. The smell was crippling molded dishes pots and pans were all over the counter. Dirty clothes 2 ft deep in every bedroom trash everywhere and so many toys scattered that we couldn’t see the floor. We started removing all the trash and putting the clothes in bags and the toys away. It took 3 of us 2 days/nights to get to where we could actually start cleaning the kitchen bathrooms and floors. We got done with a few hours to spare. That family was so grateful they gave us 4000 for that job and hired us to clean weekly. We cleaned for them for 5 yrs until they moved away. After getting to know them the house hadn’t got like that bc they were lazy or nasty but bc they worked long hours and spent time with the kids wen they werent working and the house got too much too quick and it was too overwhelming for her to do it on her own. That was biggest and best project we have ever done. I loved seeing them so happy they had there house back and they could come home to a clean house and just enjoy each other (Sorry for the long response)

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
I suggest meeting with at least 2 different cleaners to compare estimates and what is including in them. Ask do they have reviews as well as at least 2 references you can call and ask about their work.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
The most important is what can they afford. The main questions you should ask are how much they charge for the type of clean you need and how long will it take. Ask them do they supply the cleaning supplies or do the cleaners. Ask if they offer a discount if you need a weekly or biweekly clean.
