How did you get started doing this type of work?
Obanion Cleaning Service and Restoration was born in 2018 out of a passion for helping people reclaim their spaces and restore order to their lives. What began as a small, family-run operation quickly grew through word of mouth, strong work ethic, and a commitment to excellence.
Our founder started with hands-on experience in residential and commercial cleaning, later expanding into more complex restoration workâincluding hoarder cleanouts, post-construction cleaning, and water damage recovery. With a background in Environmental Services (EVS) management and a deep understanding of what âcleanâ really means in healthcare, hospitality, and home settings, we knew we could offer more than just surface-level cleaningâwe deliver peace of mind.
Today, our team continues to grow, but our mission remains the same: to provide high-quality, reliable cleaning and restoration services with integrity, compassion, and unmatched professionalism.

One of our most rewarding recent projects was a total hoarder house transformation featured on our social media. The home had been neglected for years and was overwhelming for the family to manage. They called us in for a full deep cleaning and restoration.
Scope of Work
We tackled every inch of the propertyâclearing debris, scrubbing walls, baseboards, ceilings, floors, and windows, and sanitizing the kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms. We also addressed odors, restored flooring, and safely disposed of unsalvageable items.
Timeline
The entire project took 5 full days, with a dedicated team rotating through to ensure nothing was missed.
Impact
The results were life-changing. The family was able to return to a clean, safe, and dignified space. Our work helped them take the next step toward reclaiming their homeâand their peace of mind.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Hiring the right cleaning service is about more than priceâit's about trust, quality, and professionalism. Hereâs what we recommend you consider:
Check Credentials and Experience
Look for providers with verified experience, proper training, and insurance. Ask if they have experience with homes like yours or specialty services you need (e.g., hoarding, flood cleanup, post-construction).
Request a Walkthrough or Detailed Quote
Be wary of flat quotes without seeing your space. A quality provider will offer a walkthrough (virtual or in person) to give an accurate estimate based on your home's condition.
Ask About Their Process
Reputable companies will explain their cleaning methods, supplies used, and what to expect on the day of serviceâincluding safety protocols.
Look at Reviews & Before/After Work
Customer reviews, photos of real jobs, and word of mouth are powerful indicators of consistency and quality.
Clarify Costs and Policies Upfront
Know whatâs included in the price, if there are additional fees, and what the cancellation or rescheduling policy is.
Choose a Team You Can Communicate With
You should feel comfortable asking questions and giving feedback. A great provider will be responsive, respectful, and eager to exceed your expectations.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
To help us provide the most accurate quote and service plan, itâs helpful for you to consider the following questions:
What type of cleaning do you need?
Standard maintenance, deep cleaning, move-in/move-out, post-construction, hoarding, restoration, etc.
What areas of the property need attention?
Entire home or just specific rooms (e.g., kitchen, bathrooms, basement)?
Include details like square footage, number of bedrooms/bathrooms, or problem areas.
What is the current condition of the space?
Light, moderate, or heavy build-up?
Are there stains, odors, clutter, or pet hair that require extra attention?
What type of flooring and surfaces do you have?
Carpet, hardwood, tile, laminate, etc.
Knowing this helps us bring the right tools and products.
Do you have any specific concerns or sensitivities?
Allergies, chemical sensitivities, pets in the home, or areas that need extra care.
Whatâs your preferred timeline or deadline?
Is this urgent, part of a scheduled move, or flexible?
Are you looking for a one-time service or recurring cleanings?
Let us know if youâre interested in ongoing maintenance options.
Do you have a budget in mind?
This helps us tailor services or suggest packages that fit your needs.
