We price our jobs two ways, by the square footage, or by the number of rooms and bathrooms. We typically like to have the square footage available as it gives us the exact size of your home and enables us to give you the best price per square foot.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Our typical process for working with new customers is to gain an initial in-depth understanding of their needs in order to give them a tailor made service package. We try to get as much detailed information upfront so that we can generate a reasonable quote for them in a timely manner.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have more than 5 years of experience as a professional cleaner from sole proprietor to business owner. Now I have an established entity where I can bring my skills and experience to the forefront.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I started doing cleaning jobs as a child helping my mom clean houses. Being by her side and witnessing her tenacity inspired me to be self sufficient so in her honor I established my company Charlene's Cleaning Company LLC so that her legacy would live on through me.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I worked with various types of customers from Commercial and Residential to move in and move out cleaning, rental property cleaning, one time deep cleans and recurring cleaning for those with busy lifestyles and busy parents looking to delegate some of the cleaning aspects of their lives to someone reliable.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

A recent project that I am fond of is a project we did in conjunction with a partner company of ours. The job was a 3 bedroom 2 and 1/2 bathroom move out cleaning to get the house ready to re-rent. The clean also included oven cleaning and carpet cleaning including stairs, which was done by our partner company. We were able to save our customer money by offering them a full package. The job took approximately 3 and 1/2 hours and the customer was extremely satisfied with the results!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would tell them to make sure they do a little vetting just to assure that the cleaner is professional, and that they are competent in the work they are quoting you for. A person that prices a job outrageously high or extremely low, may also not be competent in the work. Work with providers who respond professionally and have professional profiles and websites.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

They should think about the precise details of what they want done and think through questions like, what type of cleaning do I actually need, like standard or deep. Also questions like whats a reasonable rate for my geographical location. It's always great to have the square footage of your home or project readily available to help service providers give you a timely and accurate quote for your project.
