Started in 2013, we are locally owned and operated in Salt Lake City and our new Provo office by Brian and Jen Boyle. The goal of MaidThis cleaning is to take the hassle out of the cleaning process for you so you can live a more fulfilled life in a clean home while getting back the one thing that is most valuable in your life - your time. With the time we provide you, you are then able to spend it with family, friends, and doing the things you love most…all while not cleaning. We are all about details and detailing your home is different than cleaning it. We also strive to make it as easy to do business with as possible from easy, online booking, to automated recurring cleanings scheduled with text and email reminders 3 days and 1 day in advance and offering our one of a kind “24-hour happiness guarantee” so you never have to worry about a clean. That means we will do every cleaning right the first time or you have our guarantee we will come back out and make it right (for any areas we may have missed up to 2.5 hours) at no additional cost to you. Because of that we don’t charge you for a full 24 hours after your cleaning allowing you to have time to actually be in your clean home and be happy with it. We also offer discounts of 30% on monthly recurring cleanings and up to 40% on weekly and bi-weekly recurring cleanings and reward our most loyal customers with the best deals. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We love quoting hourly rates so that you know you can customize the cleaning experience based on what you want and not square feet of your house or how many bedrooms you have. We are running a $50 off any cleaning for Thumbtack customers only. And we also do not charge you card for your cleaning until 24 hours after the cleaning has been completed allowing you to be sure the home is cleaned the way you want.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

All of our customers receive a phone call with a price quote and on that call we gather notes about the cleaning about what areas of your home you would like cleaned. We then follow up with a phone call 24 hours after every cleaning to ensure you are happy with your cleaning. Our “24 hour happiness guarantee” gives you peace of mind that you will never pay for a clean that was not done to your liking.

What types of customers have you worked with?

We work with clients who live in very small homes (less than 500 sq ft) to clients with 10,000 sq ft homes and everything in between. We can fit into every budget and get you exactly what you need by customizing the clean for you.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

We cleaned a 7000 sq ft home recently, that had a beautiful hand laid slate floor throughout the main level. This type of floor needs more than a vacuum or a wet jet/spray mop. Using a bucket mop with specialized cleaning solution and then dry mopping it after with stone cleaning solution can restore even the most tired looking stone floor. Most cleaners will try to take short cuts on a floor like this. A floor like that deserves special attention and it didn’t take long at all.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

All of our cleaners go through a rigorous vetting process with complete background check and reference check. We do not just have “warm bodies” that we send to your home. In fact, for every 100 applicants who apply to work with us, on average only 1 actually starts cleaning with us. We only hire the best and each of are cleaners are insured for professional liability while cleaning in your home. That way if an accident happens while in your home, you are not out.
