What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I do not price by the hour or the square foot. I bid the job. This way you don't need to worry about the pace. The proper attention can be given to your home and you will always be paying the same price. We will make an appointment to look at your house and listen to what your needs are. We will make a cleaning plan and I will give you a price per cleaning. Range $90 - $225

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

After the walk through, we schedule your initial clean. This clean is a Spring Cleaning: drapries, window blinds, lampshades, carpet/floor edging, kitchen cabinet doors washed, computer hub vacuumed/dusted, plants and artificial plants wiped down/dusted, bathroom globes washed (if assessable), interior windows washed, screens vacuumed, vacuume under furniture cushions, all detail work included.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

My first client... had a white glove & she used it. Not kidding! Between my Mother and my first client I had thorough training. Prior to cleaning I was a counselor at a not-for-profit agency. Being a trained listener and probelm solver I am able to give exceptional customer service to my clients.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

As I said, prior to cleaning, I was a counselor. I loved my job, however the pay wasn't that great. I have always had an entrepreneurial spirt and was picking my older brother's brain one evening (He is a successful chemical engineer) about businesses he thought would be a good fit for me. He suggested a cleaning business. After discovering how much more money I could make working for myself, I made the change.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with all different kinds of customers because I have been doing this over fifteen years. I found my niche with Maintained: Homes, Condos, Condo/Apartment Buildings and Small Offices.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Most of my homes take 2.5 - 3 hours for 1 cleaner

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Find someone who has been around awhile and has several clients, your first cleaning will tell you a lot, make sure you feel comfortable with the person and be able to critique their work. It should feel like a good fit.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

What are your no touch items? Any pet issues? How long has the cleaner been in business? Do you clean as individuals or a team?
