Introduction

I can translate visually what the client wishes. I start with sketches, and after approval, start the mural, working rather quickly and neatly. Clients are always excited by the result, higher than their expectations. I work mostly but not essentially, with old painting home made recipes, natural and free of VOCs, such as lime paint, casein binder, tempera. I've been painting in large since 2021, I was an art director/illustrator prior, working amongst others for OEUF, the children design company. Please be mindful of my fees before contacting me. They're listed in my featured projects. Thank you.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
The pricing is calculated based upon size, technique, travel time, complexity (for ex ceilings are pricier) - Illustrations start at $1,000 for a cover, or $500 for editorial. Wall finishes start at $2,000. Murals start at $2,500.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I usually start with discussing ideas. Send a proposal with sketches/few options, and then a final rendering from a photo of the space. Upon approval, I can start the work.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I studied scenography in Paris, at Ecole Boulle. I then studied Illustration at Parsons in NYC.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I wanted to go back to painting with my hands during covid, away from computer screens.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Mostly private clients, in Europe and the USA.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I did a mural in the master bedroom for a very good friend. Although the first ideas I suggested were not the right direction, I finally envisioned what she would like, the mood and color, and went ahead. She was very enthusiastic and please in the end!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
I would advise them to see as much work as possible from the provider and communicate precisely what you're looking for, to understand if it is the right match.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
The time frame, the budget, the mood.
