I value my time and profession. I charge what I consider fair and reasonable.\Each project is different and is priced that way.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I;m a good listener. I ask many questions to get as much useful information from my clients as possible,so I can deliver the kind of job they expect. I'm easy to work with and flexible,so if they change the specs,I can easily adapt.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I've always liked to draw and I still consider this work fun.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I've always done artwork commercially. I worked for ad agencies for 35 years in New York and Miami.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Ordinary people who have written a children's story or have a personal memory that they want illustrated. Most of these people self publish the finished work.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I'm currently working for a guy who writes political cartoons and I have illustrated about twenty of them. I draw two a month. I also draw caricatures as birthday presents or gifts.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Be flexible in choosing a vendor. Don't just look for the lowest price. Look at style,experience,and have several phone calls to see if you are on the same page with this vendor and can communicate with them easily.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

What is my subject, who is the audience that my story is trying to reach, how many characters are in my story and what art style do they think best supports the words.
