Introduction

I start by stepping out of my shoes and in to my clients, or the new brand. Be completely objective. I wipe the slate clean and allow myself to envision as if this was my own company, not just a designer commissioned for a task. I like to take in what the client/brand envisions as if it were my own. In that way I can see my new vision and allow my design skills to adapt or completely morph in to a new style of thinking and creating. I can then apply what I already know and work it within my new mindset of designing. I love knowing I created something and my client is 100% satisfied with the work I've done. Being creative just doesn't seem like a job to me, I enjoy it way too much.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Pricing can vary per project, but I will happily provide an estimate so you are always aware how much your designs may cost.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

The first step we like to take is hearing about what you want to see from your company. What do you picture being advertised everywhere? Where does the story start? This helps us get a better vision of where you see your business going and what demographic you are aiming towards. All of this comes in to play when creating an image for yourself; those little details help put every unique element into our design, allowing everything to tie together. From logo to billboard, it all starts with a conversation about who you are and where you see your business going. From here, we can start to put a face to the company.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I've been creating all of the flyers, email blasts, and marketing materials for 2 different Real Estate Agencies and a Property Management company. Helping agents turn around properties quicker with unique looking designs that sell has felt really rewarding.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I think always providing samples of work that relate to what the customer needs is helpful, that way they can be sure the designer/new hire is the right fit.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Timeline needed for the project and budget. Also, showing the professional any kind of inspiration that they think relates to the project to help propel the creative process.
