Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
We believe in transparent, fair pricing with no hidden fees. Catering packages start at $15 per person, with pricing based on menu selection, guest count, service type (drop-off or full service), and location. We provide detailed quotes upfront and work closely with each client to meet their needs and budget. Whether it's a small gathering or a large event, you’ll know exactly what you’re paying for before we begin.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Our Process for New Catering Clients Initial Contact – We start by gathering basic details about your event: date, location, number of guests, and menu preferences. Custom Quote – Based on your needs, we’ll provide a detailed quote outlining pricing, menu options, and service level (drop-off or full service). Booking & Deposit – Once you’re ready to move forward, we’ll secure your date with a deposit and send a catering agreement for your review. Final Details – As the event approaches, we confirm guest counts, logistics, and any last-minute changes. Event Execution – On the day of your event, we arrive on time, fully prepared to deliver fresh, delicious food and great service.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Education & Experience Our culinary skills are rooted in generations of family recipes, passed down from our mother and grandmother. With years of hands-on experience in professional kitchens and large-scale catering, we’ve learned how to deliver authentic flavors and efficient service. We stay current on food safety practices, and our team is trained in proper handling, preparation, and service standards to ensure every event runs smoothly.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
How We Got Started We started catering to share the food we grew up with—authentic Mexican dishes and BBQ made from family recipes. What began as cooking for friends and local events quickly grew into a full-time business as word spread about our flavor and service. Today, we proudly serve events across Colorado, offering everything from street tacos to whole hog roasts.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We’ve catered for a wide range of customers, including corporate events, weddings, private parties, festivals, and community fundraisers. Our clients include businesses, schools, families, and event planners all across Colorado. Whether it's a casual backyard gathering or a large formal event, we tailor each experience to fit the occasion.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
We recently catered a corporate event that included a whole hog roast for over 100 guests. We slow-roasted the pig using our caja china and served it with rice, beans, and fresh tortillas. From setup to cleanup, the entire event took about 8 hours, with overnight prep beforehand. The pork was incredibly tender, and the client said it was the best they’d ever had. Everyone went home full and happy—that’s what we’re all about.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Look for someone who’s responsive, experienced, and willing to customize the menu to fit your event. Ask for clear pricing, check reviews, and make sure they can handle your guest count and service needs. Great food is important—but so is reliable service, communication, and professionalism. A good caterer should take the stress off your plate, not add to it.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Questions to Consider Before Reaching Out What’s the date and location of your event? How many people are you expecting? Do you need full service or drop-off catering? What kind of food or theme are you looking for? What’s your budget per person? Are there any dietary restrictions or special requests? Having these details ready helps us give you an accurate quote and plan the perfect menu for your event.
