Transitioning from a discerning diner to a chef, my diverse kitchen experiences have shaped my expertise. Papito Chef came to life in 2017 when I decided to turn my love for crafting delicious meals for my children Samantha, Carlitos, and Sabrina into a culinary adventure to share with the world. Born in Caracas, Venezuela, my deep affection for cooking sprouted from the rich flavors of my native land and European heritage. I must admit, relishing shared meals feels like the best form of real-life social networking. Upon my move to Miami, USA, in the late 90s, I brought my fervor for creating culinary experiences. Endearingly dubbed 'Papito Chef' by my young children and their friends, I regularly prepared a wide array of dishes for them. Soon after, I officially embarked on my culinary journey as a chef, gaining a loyal clientele. My talent lies in authentically recreating traditional dishes, infusing them with modern twists, and crafting new culinary creations. This ability has been the cornerstone driving my passion to continuously delight food enthusiasts.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

One recent project I particularly cherish involved catering for a large-scale wedding at the Flamingo Theater at Brickell. With over 200 guests in attendance, I curated a Pasta Station, equipped with 10 skilled chefs attending to each individual's preferences. This station featured 5 delectable sauces, 2 types of pasta, and an assortment of 8 gourmet toppings, along with a signature chef salad with a balsamic, passion fruit and honey dressing. The meticulous planning and execution ensured the event ran seamlessly on track. The project took approximately three days of planning and preparation ensuring every detail was perfectly aligned for the grand occasion. It was a delightful challenge, and the satisfaction of seeing the guests enjoying the tailored culinary experience made it an incredibly fond project for me.
