Our food is all made from scratch and we accommodate dietary requirements where ever possible. We work with our clients to reflect their tastes and budget to plan the perfect event for them, that's why so many of our customers are repeat clients! We love the variety of our work, no two events are the same and our clients are always so great to work with. We get to be creative and innovative all the time!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Our menus showcase prices for food and includes premium quality disposables. Our food prices are subject to local/state sales tax and a 5% administrative fee.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We start by listening very carefully to our customers in order to fully understand their vision for a special event. We assist with menu design based on budget, goals and desired outcome.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

We are a fully licensed and insured catering company. All members of our catering team are ServSafe Certified, as well as members of the American Culinary Federation and NACE.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

With a combined 6 decades of experience in the culinary field, catering and event planning has been a lifelong passion for each team member in our amazing crew.

What types of customers have you worked with?

We work with an enormous range of clientele; we cater weddings, corporate lunches, dinners, and cocktail parties, galas and fundraisers, baby and bridal showers, bar/bat mitzvahs, celebrations such as anniversaries, birthdays, graduations and holiday parties. Proudly catering a whole spectrum of events!

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

We catered an event inside a newly renovated airport hanger at Logan airport. It had a 737 inside as the backdrop and we fed 600 people at the launch party; we had limited facilities and were able to feed everyone plenty of food. Our staff outdid themselves in the cold weather!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Reading reviews are a wonderful way to gain insight as to the interactions that we at Hostess Catering have with our clients.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Customers should think about the date and time of their event in order to check availability with a preferred caterer. Giving thought to a budget amount, along with the size and scope of their event is also very important decisions to be made early in the planning process.
